Hello, Bonjour, Ni hao!  My name is Ron and I have been teaching ESL throughout Asia for the past 12 years.  My undergraduate is from UNB and Masters degree from Dalhousie University-both high ranking Canadian schools.  I have also obtained CELTA certification and attended dozens of TEFL conferences.  In my free time, I enjoy doing community work, flying, MTB racing and recently rekindled an old hobby of competition shooting.

你好，我是朗老師，目前已經在亞洲各國教授英文超過12年的時間了。我在紐布朗斯維克大學拿到學士學位，碩士學位則是在達浩斯大學取得，兩所都是排名很好的加拿大學校。我擁有成人英語教學證書（CELTA），也參加過十幾次英語教師培訓（TEFL）的研討會。在空閒時，喜歡參加社區活動，駕駛飛機，越野單車競賽，最近又開始對射擊競賽產生興趣。

Over the years I have taught every age and every level.  I have done a good deal of corporate work with multi-nationals and executives, particularly in presentation and interpersonal skill building.  I have also worked with medical and high-tech groups, so have gained some interesting experience and knowledge along the way.  I’m flexible and well-rounded, so I wouldn’t say I specialize in any particular area – but my strengths are in pronunciation and structural components of English.

在這麼多年 的教學經驗中，我指導過不同級數與不同年齡的學生，所以能駕輕就熟的和不同國家的人合作，特別是在表達呈現方式和人際互動的建立上，我都有自信能給予很好 的意見。另外，我曾經在醫療體系和高科技產業工作，從中獲得許多有趣的經驗，也在這段期間汲取不同產業的知識。我在教學上彈性很大，涉獵的範圍很廣，不過 如果真的一定要區分的話，最擅長的英文教學技巧應該是在發音與文章結構這兩部分。

Students can expect to have an enjoyable class with me, as I enjoy life and like to make you feel at ease.  I have been a second language learner myself (on more than one occasion) and know how challenging it can be.  I put a lot of emphasis on learning effectively, and am happy to report I have had good success with this. So, I hope to have the opportunity to talk to you in the near future!
