Over the time, each and every tea culture has its own distinctive cultural significance.

In addition to being a spiritual drink, Chinese has long discovered that there are many medical functions of tea, which was consumed regularly as an antidote. As a matter of fact, tea can enhance health and longevity.

Back in the early days, tea is not entirely consumed as tea, but as tea-flavored porridge. According to the study originated from Szechuan and Hubei areas, the so-called tea-flavored porridge is actually prepared with slightly baked tea cake with a garnish of scallion, ginger, cilantro, salt and other seasonings to enhance the flavor.
