(TraNews) – Mr. Liu has lived in many different places since he was young. He came back to his hometown afterwards. He indicated that he didn’t know what he wanted in the first place, that was why he kept searching. He knew what he wanted to do until he started to sculpturing.
Mr. Liu came back to Miaoli, his hometown, about 10 years ago and opened a café. In this period of time, he discovered the fun of sculpturing. He learned how to communicate with himself while he was sculpturing. Each of his work piece has owned different theme and some of them were made out of aboriginal myth.
In 2011, he was asked to make a sculpture of world-famous singer Lady Gaga. It was his turning point in his career. He broke free and presented in a whole new different way.
Mr. Liu indicated that the hardest part is that he has to forget about the basic skill he has been learning all along then create something innovative instead. Sometimes the basic skill will become a hinder when creating new works. Visitors who like sculpture works can admire the works of Mr. Liu in his own café.
